Website building software
This article about website building is one I wish I had access to before I started my Internet venture. I had written a book about the auto repair industry and wanted to promote and deliver the book on the Internet. I had purchased website builder software along with a hosting package from a service that was recommended by an Internet guru. The hosting package was $175.00 a year and included a piece of junk web building program called website creator. I spent a month getting used to using this program and was able to get my site up and running. But here was the kicker, the software used a bizarre string of code that prevented my website from being crawled by the search engines. The faulty html used, made my site invisible because it could not be indexed and ranked in any search engines. I still have this site today and it is still invisible on the net. Before I took the guru’s recommendation I had researched Sbi or site build it. I didn’t buy it because it was $100.00 more then the site building software I did go with (big mistake). So After a lesson learned (you get what you pay for) I decided to purchase the Sbi program. This website package lives up to all its promises and I built auto-facts.org using it This site is highly visible and easily indexed and crawled by the search engines. What makes a good website
No website building software is perfect
Now the one thing I didn’t like about the SBI system I will address next.
Sbi’s mascot is the tortoise. The slogan of course is that slow and steady wins the race. And this is a true statement. When you are building your site you want to add content and back links in a cautious manner. If you throw up 40 pages in 1 day the search engines will think you are using a cheater program and will ignore your website. So this is what I did. I used the Sbi website building software and used 1 independent program to help push my tortoise along a little faster. The first obstacle I overcame using the independent tool was where was I going to get all this content. Sbi lives and breathes on content. The old saying is that "content is King". Really it's your visitor who is the King. But it is true that the only way to get more visitors is to have the kind of content that they are looking for. That is high quality, keyword-rich content that they can find using a major search engines. I found a program that addresses both issues. Now since this content tool is not part of sbi I want you to understand that I let Sbi do its job. I just used the program to supply me with the needed material and back links. This let me build 40 pages of keyword focused articles and also develop 138 back links in about 30 days. This is about as fast as you can go without making the search engine gods angry. I have done this while keeping my day job as a mechanic. I have been putting in manditory over time so the actual time spent on the website building project was about 3 hours a day.

I am also ranked on the first page of you know who for my sites main key words "car questions" Lastly a quick explanation of why I used this program to feed my Sbi site. The big mistake that most web site builders do is to focus only on the 2nd part of the content creation process which is "Writing" and completely skips the "research" part. When you start a new website writing top quality content in high paying subject areas that you may know little about is a difficult task.
